It was a great privilege for me to be recently elected to the Board of Directors of the International Pipeliners and Offshore Contractors Association, known as IPLOCA.
AJ Lucas has a long association with IPLOCA with my father serving as a past director, Past President and Honorary (Life) Member of which there are only eight still with us.
As a Director for the East and Far East Region I'm pleased to represent IPLOCA's members, whether they be regular, associate or corresponding members. I'm pleased to be serving on the leadership of the Energy Transition Committee. With its origins in pipelines IPLOCA has the world's best knowledge base for the delivery of sustainable energy infrastructure. I look forward to working to expand IPLOCA's activities in areas where it can add significant value: carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, high voltage power cables, geothermal energy and other high pressure facilities.
I intend to provide updates throughout the year on our progress.
