AJ Lucas Constructions Pty Ltd was established in 1958 by the Lukas family.

 

Singularly focused on doing a great job for our customers, we've been creating value through innovation for decades.

Pioneering the use of horizontal directional drilling and combining the company's expertise in pipelines, this success led to establishing AJ Lucas Group Limited which listed on the ASX in 1999. It grew to a turnover of $500 million specialising in drilling, pipelines and infrastructure. 

 

Successful investments were made in coal seam gas projects in Queensland and NSW and now Cuadrilla Resources and the potentially mammoth Bowland shale gas project in the UK. Our principals led much of these visionary initiatives.

Following the strategic focus of the listed AJ Lucas Group to the UK, the vision, enthusiasm and expertise that has been driving the achievements for decades is being mobilised through the privately held companies. These include AJ Lucas Constructions Pty Ltd, AJ Lucas Services Pty Ltd, Lucas Horizontal, AJ Lucas Pty Ltd and Smart Energy Services Pty Ltd.
